SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (04/05/2010)

Because of weak Global Cues, our market faced a lot selling pressures and ended up only in the red. Sensex shut shop at 17137, down by 248 points and Nifty at 5148, down by 74 points from its previous close.

CNX Midcap index was down 1.3% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was down by 1.8%. The market breadth was negative with advances at 221 against declines of 1066 on the NSE.

Today’s top Nifty gainers were HCL TECHNOLOGIES, PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK and HDFC and losers were Tata Steel, Hindalco and Sterlite Industries.

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (03/05/2010)

It was really a weak start and little volatility was maintained by the intraday traders in the market. But still it is in the bullish trend. Every downfall must be used to buy for short term gains. Sensex closed at 17386, down by 172 points and Nifty at 5222, down by 55 points from the previous close. CNX Midcap index was down by 0.2% and BSE Smallcap index was down by 0.4%. The market breadth was negative with advances at 460 against declines of 816 on the NSE.

Today’s top Nifty gainers were Idea Cellular, Ranbaxy and Suzlon Energy and losers were ABB Ltd, Hindalco and Reliance Infrastructure.

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (30/04/2010)

It was really a sluggish movement seen in the market through out the week because of weak Global Cues. Many Experts and Technical Analysts of our market felt that there was an indirect attack to us due to Greece crisis and that has played a bad huge role in the European and US markets to end the points in red and subsequently reflected in our market too.

We have seen a very good results in the last Quarter of 2009-2010 for several scrips but everything has failed to perform. Apart from this, every expert in our market is feeling that NIFTY has reached to its temporary maximum Resistance Level and hence our market looking very tired and it has every reason to go down to 5100 to 5000 level. We should expect monsoon to play a major role hereafter in the market to push up further.

Please note this week’s overall figures ie Sensex down by 0.76% and Nifty down by 60%. BSE MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.75%, BSE SMALLCAP INDEX up by 0.10%. BSE BANKEX was up by 0.65%, BSE CONSUMER DURABLE INDEX up by 0.35% and BSE AUTO INDEX up by 0.25%. BSE REALTY INDEX was down by 0.25%, BSE OIL AND GAS INDEX was down by 1.8%, BSE FMCG INDEX and BSE IT INDEX both were down by 0.5%.

SENSEX closed at 17558, up by 55 points and NIFTY at 5278, up by 23 points from Its previous close. Today’s CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 1.52% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 0.37%. The market breadth was positive with advances at 774 against declines of 504 on the NSE.

Today’s top Nifty gainers were BPCL, HERO HONDA MOTORS and TATA MOTORS and losers were Ambuja Cements, Wipro Ltd., and Tata Steel.

Today’s top SENSEX gainers were UNITED PHOSPHORUS LTD, INDIABULLS FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD., and ASHOK LEYLAND LTD. and losers were Ultra Tech Cement, Allahabad Bank and Madras Cements.
