SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (08/10/2010)

Last two days trading is making sure that the Market is looking to face the big correction. Global cues were failed to extend its support to our markets. But U.S. markets are performing very well for the present and if it closes with moderate gains in the green then we may expect our markets to touch the new high in the coming week.

Moreover, you must hold all the long positions till we receive the last quarters’ result or if anything is in profit especially more than 25% then you may partly dispose it off. Because the main reason for this advise is that today our markets have vigorously recovered from a sharp downfall to almost a flat and choppy close in last half an hour or so.

SENSEX closed at 20250 down by 65 points and NIFTY closed at 6103 down by 16 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was down by 0.70% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was down by 0.20%. The Market breadth was negative with the advances of 418 points against the declines of 875 points on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.

Today’s top NIFTY gainers are HINDALCO, RCOM and RIL and losers are Tata Steel, M & M and JP Associates.

Today’s top SENSEX gainers are INDIABULLS FINANCIAL SERVICES, IFCI and HINDUSTAN CONSTRUCTION and losers are Havells India, Tata Steel Ltd and Crompton Greaves Ltd.
