Today our market’s function was led by RIL’s result and RBI Credit Policy. Hence it was maintaining a lot of volatility due to above. Also Market Analysts fear that this could be beginning for a strong Bearish market that can lead it to the maximum down of 5000 mark.

Sensex closed at 18020 down by 110 points and Nifty at 5418 down by 30 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was down by 0.79% and BSE SMALL CAP INDEX was down by 0.80%. The market breadth was quite negative with advances of 375 against the declines of 910 on the NSE.

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (23/07/2010)

It is really a good day of trading for our market as it was able to close above 5400 mark. Moreover it was looking very nice as the Global Market is also doing well. So its next highest level can be seen within few weeks and expected to trade above that level. In short, bullish trend is intact for our market.

Though it is performing well, there is a big doubt in the Market Experts’ mind that this will definitely bounce back and once again this will come down to 5150 level as it was expected when it was trading around 5300.

Sensex up by 0.78% and Nifty was up by nearly 1.00%. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.30%, BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was down by 0.29% over the week.

Sensex closed at 18130 up by 17 points and Nifty at 5449 up by 7 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.40% and BSE SMALL CAP INDEX was up by 0.49%. The market breadth was quite negative with advances of 440 against the declines of 835 on the NSE.

Despite a negative opening for our market, it has recovered and ended up with a green note though there was a bad and disappointed Ist Quarter Result from one of the market leaders “INFOSYS LTD”. The real credit must be given to Europe Sectors for this temporary rally otherwise it must have bounced back very heavily.

As experts feel that our market cannot sustain above 5400 for a longer time as they expect for a big level pull back so quickly. As such, one must be very careful while initiating for fresh LONG position hereafter.

Sensex closed at 17985 up by 48 points and Nifty at 5400 up by 17 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.72% and BSE SMALL CAP INDEX was up by 0.69%. The market breadth was quite positive with advances of 755 against the declines of 526 on the NSE.

Today’s top Nifty gainers are UNITECH LTD, DLF LTD and SUZLON ENERGY LTD and losers are Idea Cellular Ltd, Infosys Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services Ltd.

It was really a good and cheerful week for the Traders and Investors of Indian market. Though it was good to watch, there was some kind of sluggish movements prevailed for two to three days. Global Markets extended its hand to our market to reach the maximum and important level and to maintain the same nearly 5350. This week's overall performance was really looking good and also a good sign for the next week.

Sensex up by 2.19% and Nifty was also up by 2.20%. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 2.49%, BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 1.90% over the last week. BSE REALTY INDEX up by 3.80%, BSE CONSUMER AND DURABLES INDEX was up by 5.20%, BSE METAL INDEX was up by 3.29%, BSE BANKEX INDEX was up by 3.80% and BSE OIL AND GAS INDEX down by 1.00%.

Sensex shut shop at 17834, up by 182 points and Nifty at 5345, up by 48 points from its previous close.

CNX Midcap index was down 0.70% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was down by 0.40%. The market breadth was positive with advances at 754 against declines of 525 on the NSE.
