Today our markets performed well within the range leading to a heavy volatility in the Realty Sectors, Consumer Durables and IT Sectors. Though our markets have closed mixed and flat in the end, Scrips of Realty sectors have performed very well in the end for eg. HDIL. Global Cues impact could be seen tomorrow in our Markets too. Most probably, we expect to se some more rally even in the coming days as American Markets are simply rocking now and European Indices closed in the green as well.

SENSEX got closed today at 20346 down by 9 points and NIFTY closed at 6119 up by 2 points from its previous close.

Today there was a steep downfall in the market after 2’o clock until then there was a remarkable improvement in the market. Power and Healthcare Sectors have performed even it has crashed in the last session of the trading hours.

SENSEX closed at 20315 down by 227 points and NIFTY closed at 6120 down by 66 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was down by 0.60% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was down by 0.80%. The Market breadth was negative with the advances of 434 points against the declines of 867 points on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.

Today’s top NIFTY gainers are TATA POWER, Dr.REDDYS and HERO HONDA LTD and losers are Tata Steel, Sesa Goa Ltd and IDFC.

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (03/09/2010)

Today our market was performing within a tight range during the maximum trading hours in the last day of this week and finally there was a flat close in the red. Investors were carefully exercising to find out their point of entry and exit throughout the day because of the directionless Global Market cues and international economic scenario. REALTY, AUTO and BANKING SECTORS particularly MIDCAP and SMALLCAP scrips have extended its support to the market to prevent it from going further down.

This week’s overall performance was little good when we compare with today’s performance. There were a lot of jolts and jerks seen in our markets because of the non-performance by the world markets. Nevertheless, ours was above the average line. SENSEX, in this week, was up by 1.20% and NIFTY up by 1.30%.

MARKET PREDICTION

First day in the next week, we may expect to see some rally in the initial stage of the market hours and then there will be an indication for the downtrend. Since NIFTY has got closed well below 5479, there is an impression that it is on the important support level. So, we can expect for both the actions in the markets.

SENSEX closed at 18221 down by 16 points and NIFTY closed at 5479 down by 6 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.70% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 0.90%. The Market breadth was positive with the advances of 775 against the declines of 495 on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.
