SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (06/10/2010)

Today our market has consolidated after yesterdays’ downfall. But there was a gap up opening and gained the momentum to go up and at one stage it has started loosing the gaining streak. However, it was able to close in the green but well below 6200 level.

SENSEX closed at 20543 up by 145 points and NIFTY closed at 6186 up by 40 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 1.30% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 0.80%. The Market breadth was positive with the advances of 822 points against the declines of 453 points on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.

Today’s top NIFTY gainers are JP ASSOCIATES, HINDALCO and STERLITE INDUTRIES LTD and losers are R Power, Mahindra & Mahindra and Sun Pharma Ltd.

Today’s top SENSEX gainers are SHIPPING CORPORATION, INDIABULLS REAL ESTATE and INDIABULLS FINANCIAL SERVICES and losers are Zee Entertainment, Nagarjuna Construction Ltd and Jubilant Life Science.

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (20/09/2010)

This is a good sign for our market in the first day of the new week that it has gained 95 points in the NIFTY and 311 points in the SENSEX. We have seen a strong buying in the FINANCIALS, TELECOM, FMCG, OIL & GAS, CEMENT and METALS. All these buying interests shown mainly by the FOREIGN INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS (FIIs) and DOMESTIC traders of our own markets.

Moreover, NIFTY was seen at one stage coming near the significant level of 6000. Experts feel that tomorrow without any doubt it would cross the landmark of 6000 level.

SENSEX closed at 19906 up by 311 points and NIFTY closed at 5980 up by 95 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.75% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 0.70%. The Market breadth was looking positive with the advances of 791 against the declines of 495 on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.
