SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (02/09/2010)

Today we have seen a nice opening took place in our market and it was also able to take the momentum going up due to the buying interest shown in the BANKING and SUGAR Sectors that too was individual scrip specific.

We have also witnessed that it was not able to retain the points which was gained in the initial stage of the market hours and hence it has got closed flat note in green in the end.

MARKET PREDICTION

Tomorrow we may expect to see some more corrections or an indication for the downtrend as the experts feel that theses two day’s upside closing was a pull back rally in the pure downtrend or otherwise NIFTY has to cross 5550 to see a real and further uptrend.

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING

(07/04/2010)

Today is a remarkable day in the market as the SENSEX touched a new high of 18000 points after nearly a 25 months. At the same time, it did not allow us to celebrate that as it has taken a U turn within no time still it was able to close in the green. The main reason for this activity is the Profit Booking by traders. Now everyone is confident that downfall will be very minimum if it even goes down hereafter and once NIFTY crosses 5400 then it has no immediate resistance.

It is ultimately a good sign for the traders and we can expect a real and good rally hereafter as Foreign Institutional Investors are playing a positive role and Domestice Institutional Investors. It’s a very good news to trade so confidently and this is not the time to go short. It is a market where we will have to go for long, positional or atleast short term gains not intraday, otherwise wait and watch time to see a big profit.

Sensex closed at 17970, up by 28 points and Nifty at 5374, up by 8 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.44% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was also up by 0.70%. The market breadth was positive with advances at 725 against declines of 546 on the NSE.

Today’s top NIFTY gainers are IDEA CELLULAR LTD, POWER GRID and GAIL and losers are Punjab National Bank, HUL and Sun Pharmaceuticals Ltd

Today’s top SENSEX gainers are CENTRAL BANK, INDIABULLS FINANCIAL SERVICE and IDEA CELLULAR LTD and losers are Jain Irrigation, HUL and Punjab National Bank.

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING

(06/04/2010)

It was really a quiet and calm day for our markets after a huge rally taken place yesterday and in the end it has closed so flat with green points in the SENSEX. Markets did not get any support from the IT Sectors and SMALLCAP. But there was a very big rally in the Banking Sectors and Retailing. Also Auto Sectors and Pharmaceutical Sectors have indistinctly performing to withdraw its support to full the market down, otherwise we would have seen a second straight day in the market to register the maximum high.

Sensex closed at 17941, up by 5 points and Nifty at 5366, down by 2 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP was up by 0.50% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was also up by 0.50%. The market breadth was positive with advances at 730 against declines of 553 on the NSE.

Today’s top NIFTY gainers are RELIANCE POWER, RCOM and SUZLON ENERGY and losers are HCL Technologies, Cipla and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Today’s top SENSEX gainers are INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK, ALLAHABAD BANK, and GREAT EASTERN and losers are Bharat Electronics Ltd., HCL Technologies and Bajaj Auto Ltd.,

SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING

(01/04/2010)

This is really a very good day in the market to see a fantastic close with 164 points up in the NIFTY. It is also really a good sign for us to speak about because it has happened in the very first day of the new Financial year 2010 – 2011. The main reason for all these things is the political stability in the country and the Foreign Institutional Investors approach and their confidence over our market is the crucial point to make it here.

So this is purely a buy on dips market and everyone should be careful about their point of entry in the market to buy or book the profit because still market experts to hint about the some jerk to take place at any point of time. But the correction will not be a bigger one as they have already predicted. Even now this is the ideal time to enter the market from the perspective of long term. Moreover, when NIFTY crosses 5350 we may see few points going down due to little profit bookings.

Sensex closed at 17692, up by 16 points and Nifty at 5290, up by 41 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP was up by 0.84% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was also up by 2.34%. The market breadth was almost positive with advances at 1055 against declines of 237 on the NSE.

Today’s top NIFTY gainers are TCS, JP ASSOCIATES, and TATA STEEL and losers are HUL, Bharti Airtel and Mahindra & Mahindra.

Today’s top SENSEX gainers are P&G HYGIENE AND HEALTH CARE, GODREJ INDUSTRIES LTD and CROMPTON CREAVES and losers are Mundra Port & SEZ Ltd., Balrampur Chini and Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd.
