SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (
As Analysts expected, the market has started to come down before that we have seen a lot of volatility today. Most importantly, it has closed below 18000 marks in the Sensex and below 5400 mark in the Nifty. We may also expect for big rally with volatility tomorrow as F&O expiry is there.
Sensex shut shop at 17957, down 120 points and Nifty at 5397, down 33 points from the previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.20% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was down by 0.20%. The market breadth was purely negative with advances of 458 against declines of 828 on the NSE.
Today’s top Nifty gainers are ABB, BPCL and Sun Pharmaceuticals ltd and losers are HUL, RIL and IDFC.
