This day is really a remarkable day in our market as it has traded and closed for the second consecutive day in the high level since February 2008. World Markets are performing up to the mark and so our market but the worrying factor is that we could see only a STOCK and SECTOR specific upward movements because of a big downslide took place in the stock of Reliance Industries Ltd., yesterday and today also in the opening hours finally recovered before the actual close of the market hours.
SENSEX closed at 18454 up by 197 points and NIFTY closed at 5540 down by 61 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.99% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX down 0.89%. The Market breadth was purely positive with advances of 801 against the declines of 483 on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.
