SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (21/09/2010)

Once again our markets proved that it is in bullish trend and crossed an important milestone of 20000 (SENSEX) and 6000 (NIFTY). FIIs are going to be the main reason for this raise in the market. Domestic traders are seen trembling and hence they booked partial profits well before the actual opening of the European Markets but FIIs again used that opportunity to buy and made our markets to touch the new high at the closing hours. TECHNOLOGY and HEALTHCARE was their main target to buy and ofcourse CAPITAL GOODS SECTORS following the gap up opening in the European Markets but in the end it was closed flat.

MARKET PREDICTION

Experts say that our markets have reached the maximum peak. So there is no clue or whatsoever about the markets’ upward movement. But technically , this is really very high and without any doubt it can comedown to 18700 atleast in the SENSEX.

OUR ADVISE IS TO FOCUS IN THE TEXTILES INDUSTRY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SECTORS TO INITIATE A FRESH LONG POSITIONS TO TRADE SAFELY BECAUSE IT HAS NOT SEEN THAT MUCH OF RALLY IN THE RECENT TIMES. SO WE MAY HAPPEN TO SEE SOME KIND OF RALLY EVEN IF OUR MARKETS TAKE A U-TURN HEREAFTER.

SENSEX closed at 20001 up by 95 points and NIFTY closed at 6009 up by 28 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was purely down though the closing points are in the green by 0.79% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was down by 1.28%. The Market breadth was almost negative with the advances of 276 against the declines of 1015 on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.

Today’s top NIFTY gainers are RANBAXY, TCS LTD, and WIPRO LTD and losers ITC Ltd, Unitech Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd.

Today’s top SENSEX gainers are RANBAXY, TCS LTD, and MARICO LTD and losers are Bhushan Steel, GMDC and Rural Electric.
