SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (22/10/2010)
Today our markets were purely traded within the range. Most of the times it was in the green but last one hour or so it has turned against the trend and closed in the red. But overall Nifty and Sensex gained almost 0.1% for the week. IT was the best indices to perform well whereas FMCG Realty Sectors have deeply affected throughout the week. As such, Realty has reached the maximum down. So this is the right time to enter in.
SENSEX closed at 20165 down by 94 points and NIFTY closed at 6066 down by 35 points from its previous close. CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.20% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 0.30%. The Market breadth was negative with the advances of 595 points against the declines of 703 points on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.
Today’s top NSE gainers are TCS, SIEMENS LTD and RANBAXY LTD and losers are Wipro Ltd, Axis Bank and Sesa Goa Ltd.
Today’s top BSE gainers are INDIABULLS FINSERV LTD, PIPAVAV SHIPYARD and CORPORATION BANK and losers are M&M FinServ Ltd, Piramal Healthcare Ltd and Wipro Ltd.
