SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (26/10/2010)
Today once again Realty and Metal Sector was really under selling pressure to extend its hands to drag the points of both the indices down as well as Banking, Power and Financial Sectors. Before that Market opened in the red and there was a range bound activity shown through out the trading hours. Now Nifty’s range ie. Support level has increased from its old position 5900 to 6020 and Resistance Level 6150. Tomorrow, we may expect for some upward movement.
SENSEX closed at 20221 down by 81 points and NIFTY closed at 6082 down by 23 points from its previous close. The CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.020% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 0.20%. The Market breadth was negative with the advances of 518 points against the declines of 771 points on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.
Today’s top NSE gainers are MARUTI SUZUKI, RELIANCE CAPITAL and ITC and losers are Cairn Energy, HUL and Tata Steel Ltd.
Today’s top BSE gainers are TITAN IND LTD, ASHOK LEYLAND and GODREJ IND LTD and losers are United Phosphorus, IRB Infra Ltd and Indiabulls FinServ Ltd.
