SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (28/10/2010)
Last half an hour has really played a crucial role in our markets breaking all the psychological support levels (6000 in the Nifty and 20000 in the Sensex) to end in the red especially in the F&O expiry day. There was no exception today all the Sectors have felt the selling pressure. This dips can be used to buy and accumulate the shares.
SENSEX closed at 19941 down by 64 points and NIFTY closed at 5987down by 25 points from its previous close. The CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.72% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 0.51%. The Market breadth was negative with the advances of 459 points against the declines of 838 points on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.
Today’s top NSE gainers are BHARTI AIRTEL, HEROHONDA MOTORS LTD and BPCL and losers are SAIL, R Capital and R Power.
Today’s top BSE gainers are THERMAX LTD, ASIAN PAINTS LTD AND HIND. OIL EXPLORER and losers are United Spirits, Andhra Bank and Uco Bank.
