SUMMARY OF TODAY’S TRADING (25/10/2010)
There was a gap up opening even in the first day of the new week especially F & O Expiry week. It is really a good sign because it has already in the peak and every Market Analyst is looking forward to see a steep correction.
The companies which are dealing with exports are pronounced a good data about its sector and that led the market high. But IT, REALTY and FMCG Sectors have underperformed and its indices have ended in the red.
SENSEX closed at 20303 up by 137 points and NIFTY closed at 6105 up by 39 points from its previous close. The CNX MIDCAP INDEX was up by 0.50% and BSE SMALLCAP INDEX was up by 1.00%. The Market breadth was positive with the advances of 795 points against the declines of 501 points on the NATIONAL STOCK EXCHANGE.
Today’s top NSE gainers are HINDALCO, ACC and TATA MOTORS LTD and losers are Wipro Ltd, Power Grid Corporation and Sesa Goa Ltd.
Today’s top BSE gainers are M&M FINSERV LTD, IRB INFRA LTD and SHRI RENUKA SUGARS LTD and losers are Petronet LNG, Piramal Healthcare Ltd and Wipro Ltd.
